CZN Essentials prioritizes ingredients that are ethically sourced and aligned with Black liberation and global equity. 

We believe in economic empowerment, equitable opportunity, and circulating resources in ways that strengthen Black communities, not extract from them.

The Transformation

Our oils are blended with sodium hydroxide (lye), beginning a natural process called saponification. This reaction transforms the ingredients into real soap and naturally occurring glycerin — a humectant that helps draw moisture to the skin.

Once fully cured, no active lye remains. What’s left is true soap, crafted with care and chemistry in harmony.

Hand-Poured. Small Batch. Never Rushed.

Each batch is hand-poured into molds and carefully finished. Because we work in small batches, subtle variations in color and design reflect the authenticity of our process.

Our soaps cure for 4–6 weeks — allowing excess water to evaporate and creating a harder, longer-lasting bar. This patience results in a smoother, more refined cleanse.

We refuse to rush what is meant to nourish.
